I'm excited. It's CFB time.

'Bama will win, but I hope to see some magic from Denard that will entertain us.

Denard is going to go all Cam Newton on the Tide.

Think so ?

Alabama was one of the few teams to isolate Cam and keep him from running wild. They forced him to pass the ball to beat them.. Granted, that was two years ago and the Alabama defense looked much different, but it's still the same scheme and philosophy. He had a rushing TD, but it was a short yardage play. Cam and Denard have some similarities, but they are still completely different players. I have a hard time beliving Denard can take the same blows and keep moving.

I think that's part of the reason so many feel like Michigan won't be able to consistently move the ball on Alabama. Everyone is expecting Saban/Smart to force Denard to beat them through the air and let's be honest, when has the guy ever looked like a great passing QB ?

I hope I'm completely wrong and Michigan makes this a good game.

I highly doubt that.

Hmmm...a lot of time for Saban to prepare for a run first QB who has questionable throwing abilities? Ask Jordan Jefferson how that worked out.

Denard is better at both passing and running than Jordan Jefferson.

Don't think so. It will be interesting to see if Denard's passing has improved because he's not going to be able to run for much. Alabama has the Athletes to stay in their lanes and react quickly enough to Denard's running plays and scrambles. Denard will have to do it with his arm. I don't expect to see him running too much once he gets on the field with Alabama takes a couple hits and realizes he can't run past that defense.
