WVU is actually favored by a few points in this one.

I do feel like WVU will play better than last week, but after a 49-14 ***-whooping, my confidence is not very high regarding the possibility of a victory.

And Stedman Bailey might not even play...

Holgorsen is 3-0 after losses, granted those wins weren't against Top 5 teams though. I do think that WVU bounces back and has a big game and a win wouldn't surprise me in the least. Kansas State's offense is definitely a different style than WVU's seen this year, but every bit as dangerous with their balance and clock control. I just hope Geno & Co. can muster more than 2 tds this week, or it will be a long 2 weeks in Morgantown after back-to-back losses and a bye before TCU comes to town.

I got Kansas State by at least a touchdown. West Virginia's D couldn't handle Seth Doege, and IMO they surely won't be able to handle another Heisman candidate that can take off and run on any play. And as the announcers were saying Saturday, Geno Smith's one real weakness is that he doesn't run very much. I hope it's a good game, and I will be tuning in.

I picked Texas Tech to beat WVU last week.

I'm picking WVU to beat K-State this week.

I Actually had Texas Tech beating WVU last week but I see WVU beating Kansas State this week.

I think some of you guys forget how much home field advantage matters in college games like this. A night game at in Morgantown...you know that place will be rocking and will give the WVU defense enough intensity to put pressure on KSU. Plus WVU is pretty good at stopping the run which is what KSU does more of unlike Texas Tech. If KSU was smart they would come out in 4 and 5 wide sets and try to throw the ball around a bit because as seen by the Baylor and Texas Tech games that can not be stopped.

Their tight end will have a career night. We haven't learned that he's an eligible receiver yet.

I can still vividly remember Syracuse's tight ends running wild a year ago in the Carrier Dome. And it still hasn't changed, even with a new (worse, IMO) defensive coordinator and mostly new starters.

Kansas state wins by 14. Colin Klein takes Geno's spot as top Heisman contender
