Can you really consider someone you met over the internet and have never met in real life your girlfriend, anyways? I mean, come on.

I've seen it happen.

A guy I used to work with did it and now they are married and live together in Illinois and have two children.

Also, a guy who worked for my mom moved to China to be with a woman he met online.. they moved back here and have a few kids as well.

Sometimes strange things happen.

Actually, it is possible and it happens to real life people all the time. There was actually an entire Dr. Phil show dedicated on victims of online dating hoaxes or whatever you want to name it.

Granted, you have to people pretty freaking naive to fall victim to such a thing.

That does happen but the fact he said he met this girl after a Stanford game is all that needs to be said in terms of the fact he was obviously in on it.
