USC isn't the type of program that reaches for coordinators.

That and really, nobody has any idea how good of a coach Kirby Smart is. The vast majority of Alabama's success is because of Saban.

As far as never leaving Ann Arbor, I've heard that before. No one is anchored to their job. Especially when it comes to flagship programs.

USC should go for Pat Fitzgerald. That guy is, for my money, one of the best coaches in college.

But I think they'll end up going with Jack Del Rio.

Just assuming here, but I would think that Haden would have someone in line already if already pulling the trigger five games in.

I've seen James Franklin's name thrown out there, but I have a really - and I mean REALLY - hard time seeing USC going after Vandy's coach.

What are the odds Jeff Fisher bolts the Rams to go back to college?
