In my opinion...that's the entire ball game. Sounds cliche'...but IMO the team that can control the LOS wins this game.

On offense for AU..we've imposed our will on just about everyone. You don't lead the nation rushing without having a dominant offensive front. Can FSU's Defensive line hold their own against our O line. If not...we'll run all day long.

As much as AU has problems in the back seven...we are very good and very deep on the defensive front. We rotate 13 players on the defensive front, so fatigue never really becomes an issue for Auburn. That's why we're so much stronger in the clutch situations in the 4th defensively.

FSU is very good on both sides as well...and in the only game against a team with similar talent on their schedule (Clemson), they definitely won the battle there. Auburn controlled the LOS vs Alabama for most of the game, as well as Mizzou, UGA, etc. so this could be an epic battle.

Obviously, this FSU squad isn't on the same level as any of those teams, but they had a historically dominant regular season. Hence, they're going to get a big point spread.

Hotel...$0.00
Flight...$10.00
2014 BCS National Championship Ticket...$325.00
Watching my Auburn Tigers play for their second national championship in 4 years for a grand total of $335.00...Priceless.

*Benefits of working on the road (Hilton Honors points for hotel, Delta Skymiles for flight) and having a buddy with a connection to the Rose Bowl Committee.*

Kevin...see you in Pasadena sir. WDE

I wish my grand total was that much, AA.

I will be at the game, though. Managed to get a hold of 2 tickets (I work for a D-I Conference, not the ACC or SEC for those wondering) and decided to pony up the money for 'em. Great seats, but they definitely put a dent in the wallet.

Plane tickets are free, courtesy of Southwest. Now, I just need to finalize the hotel. I'd like to stay closer to the stadium so we can hop on a shuttle to get to-and-from the Rose Bowl. If I have to pay more to do that, I'm good with that because I really don't want to have to rent a car and drive in from another town/city.

Good luck to your Tigers, AA. I'm an FSU grad (main reason I am going), so I'll be rooting for the other team. Should be a great game.
