Dude was an incredible homer for incredibly mediocre FSU teams.

Can't even imagine what he would be like for this FSU squad.

This is just unbelievable.

To go from 3-9 to a trip to the Rose Bowl to play for the National Championship....I'm in awe.

My second trip to see Auburn play for a BCS Title in 4 years...equally in awe.

Now to the game...

FSU should be favored. They are a great team. But they haven't faced an offense like this in their regular season schedule. The closest thing to it is Clemson..but Clemson is not Auburn in the ground game.

Georgia was supposed to have the athletes to stop us..we go for over 300 on them rushing.

Bama was supposed to shut us down..we go for 300 on them.

Mizzou was the #2 ranked D in the SEC...we go for 545 on them.

After 13 games...I don't think you can stop our offense without us turning the ball over. I don't think FSU will stop our offense either.

The other aspect I feel great about is our special teams..as good as there is in the nation. Both kickers and returners.

Our Front Four is extremely deep and should be able to bring pressure on Jameis all night. But I'm sure FSU will probably go score for score with us. I'm thinking 45-42, 42-38ish score.

On an intangible note....I'm now a believer that AU is a team of destiny.

I think it's gonna be one HELL of a game. Dream matchup for me personally....get to play a great Seminole team....in Pasadena...with a chance at a National Title.

Man....what a season!

Oh...

And Tre Mason DESERVES an invitation to New York as a Heisman finalist. Unreal season for Tre.

The FSU fan in me wishes Ohio State would've won tonight, definitely the easier matchup. The college football fan in me is excited to see Auburn head to the national championship. It's a great turnaround and story from last year to now.

I'm not sold on FSU's run defense and Auburn just torched to top echelon front 7s in back to back weeks.

Mizzou and Bamas weakness are their secondary. That's FSUs strength. 1 on 1 on the outside and better athletes / tacklers at safety will hopefully be the solution to the Auburn rushing attack puzzle.

I can't wait for the game..

Oh yeah and Tre Mason definitely deserves a trip to New York to congratulate Winston in person.

People ain't giving Auburn enough credit. Not like FSU played anybody. Last time auburn's defense got doubted in a BCS title game they shut down Oregon. This game can go either way for me. Im rooting for Auburn to win it because it would be the better story.

Should be a good game. Pulling for the Noles in this one.

BTW, this man this thread would be much more entertaining if Cebby and MassNole were still around, to the point where MN would have everyone in here rooting for Auburn to win, even if you couldn't stand Auburn, because of his homerism.

Agreed. I'm going with Auburn in this game even though their defense hasn't played well they've made the plays they've needed to make in the clutch. Their OL just simply dominates. It's not just the HB's and the QB, that OL is pushing people off the damn football. I think they can tighten up their defense enough to get the win. What I want to see early on is if FSU can establish the line of scrimmage, if they can't they will be on for a ride just like everyone else. FSU will score a lot for sure, but I just think Auburn's defense will make the critical plays they need to make to establish the lead and get FSU into passing every down and when that happens, mistakes happen. Once they watch that tape of Auburn's offense I think they'll realize one thing:

Certainly FSU has the athletes on defense to do things, that other teams have already tried. I think it's going to be a matter of can they beat guys up front? Other teams were not able to handle the Auburn OL. If FSU is to win this is where they will have to win. They will need to get Auburn in 4th and 5+ consistently to make them punt the football because the tempo game is going to be huge.
