Husky CB get the Napoleon Kaufman/Kevin Ware special? Injury too gruesome to show? Hope it's not that bad.

Re: Week 7 Discussion

GT was called for 1 penalty all game for 5 yards. No holding, no blocks were deemed illegal, they were allowed to false start all game. 1 penalty for 5 yards. Yet, this was called a penalty even though it's no different than what GT WRs do every single outside run, even their OL attack LBs like that constantly. I honestly can't wait until Paul Johnson leaves GT because ACC refs really have no clue how to officiate games that involve them. It's incredible the amount of crap they get away with in their blocking that is illegal, but since they do it every single play the refs don't call it. I also can't wait til he's gone because every single time Miami plays them we have 4-5 injuries on the defensive side of the ball throughout the game despite GT fans always asking for a source that shows their offense is dangerous. I hate Paul Johnson and his 1940's offense. If the refs called the game right GT wouldn't even be able to get a first down because they'd back themselves up all of the time.

Re: Week 7 Discussion

Ohio State has been on an absolute tear since the Oklahoma game. I get they haven’t faced top teams... but they just waltzed into Lincoln and demolished Nebraska 56-14. They’ve outscored their opponents 266-56 (average of 53.2-11.2). This is one of the most dominant 5 game stretches I can remember.

And JT Barrett looks like a completely different QB. He’s throwing with anticipation, firing the ball into tight windows he never would have dreamed of before, and also being decisive in the running game. Letting Kevin Wilson fully take over offensively was what needed to happen. I’ll happily eat some crow if JT can keep this up against Penn State in two weeks.

JT Barrett since the Oklahoma game:

98/136 (72.1%)
1,440 yards
18 TD
0 INT

40 carries
243 yards (6.1 ypc)
4 TD
