Meh...I’ve seen guys tossed for less. It was questionable and that goes to my point; as soon as I saw the replay I was certain they’d overturn it.

These guys are trying to get killed by Star Wars and Star Trek... Didn't you learn your lesson last week?

That's why they did it. They were making fun of Klatt's mess-up.

Then make it 30 yards. Think of something else. I’m not a fan of ejecting players for hard hits unless they’re just dirty as ****.

It reminds me of early tenure Mack Brown at Texas: 10 wins a year, top 15 finishes, but quite can't get over the hump + blowout losses against the main rival.

You can certainly do worse than what Harbaugh's done at Michigan, but I just think they would have passed on him if they knew the report card after 5 years showed a whole lot of zeros in some important categories.

I see both sides of it.

I'm with him though on not wanting to see an immediate ejection (extending to the next game when applicable as well).

I'd rather see a progressive corrective action process regarding targeting.

We've all see calls rightfully ruled targeting at the end of the play when it's clear it wasn't the intent of the defender to target. Receivers catch the ball and put their head down, naturally, the defender does too. There's going to be times there is a harsh collision.

I don't have a problem with the targeting rule as it's written and actually think they do a pretty good job of making the right call at the end.

I would rather see some form a warning system before ejections though. And I don't mean within the timeframe of one game, I mean get a warning and it stays with you through the season.

Re: Week 14 Discussion

We won this game for the reasons I expected, but I didn’t expect this big of a win. My prediction was 34-20 with OSU tacking on a late TD.

Great first win in the rivalry for Ryan Day.

Thanks for explaining my position in a much better manner than I. A system similar to the carding system in soccer is something I could get behind.
