Decided to stick with the 360

Agreed about the price. Once you add on the HD-DVD drive for the 360, then the price is a non-issue. The issue is the current lack of games for the PS3, which will hopefully start improving sooner rather than later.

I have both consoles and for some reason people are really hard on the ps3 my 360 has been to the repair shop 4 times and I know manny others who also had console failure yet everyone seems to blow it off like its no big deal.I feel if it was sony who had these problems people would be a lot more upset I think once the ps3 starts getting more games we will stop hearing all the negative talk.

Don't see how since the PSX and PS2 both had widespread hardware failure problems. No guarantee the PS3 won't as well.

I understand what you are saying but I dont think the hardware failure was at this level.

The 360 has the HIGHEST failure rate of any system. The average system life is 7 months.
