My launch 360 was working fine...until last night. Finally crapped out on me, I first had the three rings, then it went to solid red.

The odd thing is I've had my fair share of problems but i've never seen any red lights on either console. My last one had garbled graphics in various games and this one has problems with DDE's.

I got the three flashing rings today. I was playing during a storm and the lights flickered. My 360 went off and then the red lights were flashing. I quickly turned it off, waited and turned it on again.

I sure hope it's ok.

Well I got raped by Microsoft...140 bucks. Really pisses me off, I treated that thing like a queen and it still failed. Why isn't there a class action on this?

A friend of mine just lost his launch 360 as well and he didn't buy the warranty either. The cost of the warranty is the same cost as a new game.

so I left mine at my friends house last night... and now it's got a flashing red ring of light... does that mean it's dead? I don't mind, I have the 2 year warranty from Best Buy, but I was just wondering if my friend bricked it last night?

How many quadrants are red? If it's 3 it's most likely toast, if it's 4, your AV cable is not plugged in right or busted.
