Dirty disc errors on XBOX 360 2K games?

So I got my XBOX360 in like October. I only own five games:

NBA 2k7
MLB 2k7
Top Spin 2
Tony Hawk Project 8
NCAA Football 2k7

NBA 2K7 used to give me the dirty disc ever once in a while but I never had it with any other games. Then I bought MLB 2k7. I have gotten two straight games with errors and the disc is flawless.

Is something wrong with my system? What kind of process is involved with getting it fixed? Any recommendations? I had a PS2 for years and hardly ever had problems. Next Gen.....such crap.

I have a launch system and have not had one single DDE.

I've always had bad luck with 2k games on my 360's. The first 360, would freeze all the time on every 2k game, and only very rarely on other ones. The second 360 ****ed with just about every game I played, and left them with lines all over the back. Hopefully the third one I get, will work out much better.

So I should get mine replaced? What is the process for that? I have the stupid Best Buy replacement plan (I did it because they didn't have the 1 year warranty yet) is that useful at all? Should I do anything or is this just how it is?

the 2k sports games are the only games that have froze on my XBox 1 and my Xbox 360. It's really odd, but I've gotten used to it.

If nothing else is freezing, don't worry about ditching your system.

Is the normal behavior:

1. Game gets stuck on a scene. Sound and crowd animations and such are still going but the players are just standing around
2. The disc drive stops spinning
3. Within the next 60 seconds the error pops up

Just making sure that is all normal for this or if anything about my situation is different.

I've had that happen a couple times with the 2k sports games.
Nothing else has froze on me, but the 2k sports stuff.

It is the 2k sports games and your xbox.

My old Xbox 360 used to have dde's with the 2k games.

After that one finally died and I picked up a new 360 I have not had any DDE's or the disc to stop spinning.
