Have fun with it and be sure to get the Show so you can continue your career on it.
Great, thanks a lot. I was thinking about getting The Show for the PS3, but I didn't want to start my career all over again. I figured I'd just use the PS2 version of it on the PS3 so I can continue with the career I have. The PS3 version won't continue from the PS2 game save will it? Is there a slot on the PS3 for your PS2 memory card?

You need a USB adapter for a PS2 memory card.

No, the PS3 version won't continue from the PS2 save. That'd be cool if it did, though. Trust me though, once you play the PS3 version of the Show, you won't want to touch the PS2 version.

PS3 Engineers on Firmware Future

"PS3 software engineers, SCE chief technology officer Kawanishi and AV manager Kanehide, have been discussing the future of firmware updates. The duo feel there’s still room to upscale visual and audio quality by 30 to 40 percent and can foresee a fanless PS3."

Why go fanless? It's not like the fan that's in there now makes much noise at all.

yeah that's why I don't want to get The Show for the PS3. I've put 7 years into my career on the PS2, I can't just throw it out and I'm afraid if I see how good it looks on the PS3 I'd be tempted. LOL

Thanks SLAYER, I'll add one of those to my list too

I'll need to add something like that to my list for rosters if I that's what you need. Anything else needed other than another controller? Maybe a headset? Thanks.
You will need an HDMI cable since it doesn't come with any HD cables but those are cheap off of ebay (not in a retail outlet). Supposedly the PS2 component cables are compatible with it.
