Turtle Beach X4 Headphones

I was thinking about picking up this Headphone because I was looking for a decent surround sound system and these headphones have 5.1 surround sound.

Does anyone have these or know anyone who has these.

Yep a guy here at work who also games (360) vouches for his big time. He loves them. The biggest issue for him was figuring out how to get them hooked up.. lol.
He says you can really hear all the little details of the game and the quality was very nice.

I believe he either has the X3 or X4's. Just got them a month or so ago.

i heard that too that they can be a little hard to setup. I really do not know what to make of this because it does seem very easy to set up. Since i got a elite, I will use the digital optical cable, then just switch the Xbox audio to Dolby Digital...

I wonder if you can still hear the noise your 360 is making while wearing the headphones?
(I own a 360, don't have a cow ... but it is one loud piece of equipment)

I have them. I'd rate them a 8.5 out of 10. I talked about them here also with another brand I tried out: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...orce-x3-4.html

The way it dynamically adjusts the MIC volume is a very welcome addition over previous headsets I've used. Also having surround headphones with a mic boom and wireless was the deal breaker.
