With MLB 09 The Show inching toward a release, I am curious if you are considering a PS3 if they dropped the price soon?

I'm on the fence as I don't have a high def tv and I can find a majority of the games on the Xbox 360. However, once again like last year, I'm thinking about getting a PS3 for The Show. It is the high price tag of the PS3 that keeps me away. Anyone else in the same boat?

Personally, if I didn't have an HDTV, I definitely wouldn't consider having multiple next-gen consoles.

I got the Circuit City going out business discount and got a ps3 for almost $100 off.

You better hurry. I went to Circuit City today to see if they had any good movies(they didn't) and all the systems were gone.

I'm waiting for a PS3 price drop so I can get one around the end of the summer.

I am but only because once a better model drops in price Im going to take mine back to Best Buy with the warranty, get the gift card and basically uograde my system for free. I paid 399.99 for the 40GB model in December of 2007 so I have until December of this year to take it in and upgrade basically.
