Terrible idea. I want my games on my TV with a controller in my hand. Anything less than that is BS.

If they want to make a tablet to enter into the portable market, then fine. But to REPLACE the console? That might be the worst idea ever.

I would never buy this. Like others have said, I want something in my hand and a T.V to play the game on.

Yeah, exactly. Tablets are cool, but what the article mentions is stuff they wouldn't be able to do within 5-10 years anyways...You're not gonna have Kinect in a tablet in 3 years (at least not something that's affordable for a new system).

The next Xbox will be a normal console. Possibly a bit more dependent on digital downloads, but they wouldn't go to a tablet now (especially when Windows 7 tablets haven't even dropped yet).

Maybe (a big maybe) MS uses a tablet as a way to get into the portable market, but that'd be separate from current systems.
