Re: PSP2 Information Emerging

I took it as you had to use the sticks to save anything on it. There was no mention of internal memory, just a lot of talk about saving and transferring files off the sticks.

Having owned 2 PSP's at different times and a DS, all of which were never played tells me 2 things. One I have no interest in this or the 3DS, and 2, I'm not a handheld gamer. Would just rather be playing games on a big TV as opposed a 4 inch screen. I love playing games on my iPod Touch, but those I can play for 30 seconds and move on.

The new PSP is a cool looking device, but gives me personally nothing I can't do on my iPod/iPhone. For others who like handheld gaming, it's going to be a killer machine.

I was reading elsewhere that the game memory sticks will most likely be game specific to save on. Not sure I really like that, since it's better when everything is centralized in one location. Maybe more details will emerge soon if there is internal memory or not.

I agree with Burns to a degree. I would have liked for something smaller very, similar to the Go since it was so portable. If it was just a bit bigger than the Go, man that would have been nice. This thing does look killer.........hopefully it is not the size of the Sega Nomad length wise. LOL!

Hopefully the price isn't outrageous.
The size looks similar to the 3000, which I think is perfect. The Go was too small IMO.

Looks good. I don't own a PSP so I will just wait for this one to drop. Looks great IMO.

The Uncharted look pretty sweet on the new PSP. I own a PSP 2000 & I still use it to play music at work & some games on it. Might get this one too.

I do this with my games too. I get em cheaper and fixed. lol

Oh heck yeah. The only time I hit up my psp is when I'm on the road. With trophy support I'd play alot more of it.

Plus this is another thing to add to my Trophy addiction. LOL!
If I had to guess I'd say it comes in around the 249.99 mark. Just a guess.

And yeah portable trophy hunting ftw.

I hope it links with our current PSN account adding to trophy totals.

Gameplay footage in this compilation trailer showing Minna no Golf, Gravity Daze, Killzone, Reality Fighters, Smart As, Broken, LittleBigPlanet 2, Little Deviants, WipEout, Resistance and Uncharted:

Pretty sure this looks more detailed than the PS3 game and the shadows look really nice and crisp. Surprisingly cool use of the gyro and stuff here.

Little Deviants, focussing on the two touch pads:
