There are catalogs posted for just about every year (79 was a bit early for me, even though I did have a lot of that stuff handed down to me, early-mid 80's I was in my toy prime).

I was one years old when this came out. I do remember the catalog that came out with the old Nintendo and the games in it.

Wow, so many memories from these catalogs. I used to look forward to them every year when I was a kid and just browse!

Sears Electronic Touchdown...I remember playing that with my brother.

Looking at all that stuff makes me a little sad. Very nostalgic, but it's odd to think back on the little boy who loved all those toys. Life is tough. I'm happy I got to have so much fun when I was a kid.

Thanks for the memories! I remember when Sears was THE big place to look for toys, etc. I used to fold down the pages for my parents to buy me things. I can't believe how much stuff I used to have.

Heck yes... nostalgia... I used to love the Star Wars toys sections and the Video Games obviously.

Sadly my single mom had to work many jobs and we was poh! But she did what she could, bless her heart!
