I'm fine paying a premium for the convenience. That's not enough for everyone though and that's OK.
Yeah...I have 2 systems and got Fallout 4 digital for the pros listed here...I used the Golden Crisp cereal coupon to save, but I would have saved a bit more going through Best Buy. I made that decision because I felt I'd never really sell back Fallout 4, and everything else I'll get physical on sale.

I did start feeling the benefits with the Games With Gold games though...not having to carry a disc around is handy.

It's completely worth it for someone who doesn't want to get up to switch discs out because they are lazy. That is why I made the switch to all digital a year ago.

Was a good decision.

But with digital you are stuck with the game no matter what. Also going along with this you can't get the good trade in deals. Like with Madden 16, you can get it with GCU for like $8.

Also Mike, I can't see all-digital gaming happening for awhile because of guys like you. The ones that don't have the best internet and if they went all-digital they would eliminate a whole entire fanbase and maybe even the bigger fan base.
Agreed. That's the #1 con for me. I'm much more inclined to take a chance on a physical copy game knowing that if I don't like it I can sell it and recoup some of the costs. I'm not one of those people who keep all of their games.

Yeah this is mentioned mostly because if you go digital you have to redownload but if you buy physical you can just install from the media. Installing from the media is quicker unless you're on a super fast connection.

Pro # 6 is my favorite thing to do with digital copies...this goes back to calling sick again hehehe.

You're correct though. I don't understand why they charge $59.99 for the digital version of the game when it's costing them less for distribution. Unfortunately it also carries into digital video distribution since they keep the buy prices the same for bluray and digital copy along with charging extra for "Ultra HD" digital copy...lol
I actually forgot another huge PRO - the fact that it's easy to buy a game digitally and your wife doesn't know it, as opposed to seeing you walkin with a game in hand, LOL...

Yeah you're right but I think that would fall under #2, I just tend to give away or trade my copies with folks more than sell them back to the store. I'll edit to include that though, good point there

Pros: lots of them.

Cons: you don't own the game, along with lots of others.

Did you know that physical copies aren't owned either now per the EULA on games you do not own the software.
