Only once for a little. But, I can definitely see the potential of UE5. That's what I'm talking about. Next gen level design and something as little as scale. The character's size relative to the city feels more appropriate. Many open world games in the past, the character's size feels to close to the size of the city landscape. When done right, like in the demo, it makes the world seems bigger. Also the amount of NPCs and cars make the world feel more alive. That's the issue a lot of these past open world games had. A lot of them felt so lifeless and felt like the NPCs served no purpose other than to simulate the real world.
We're still probably a year or so away from seeing those UE5 and other current gen exclusives games showing the true potential of the next gen console.
