I just had Miles Morales freeze on me and the ps5 also froze while browsing the store. I don’t understand how Sony released this console like this. At this point I feel like leaving the console alone until we get an update to Fix this.

There's a system software update downloading now, around 870 MB. Don't expect much out of the notes though - it's the classic nondescript "improves system performance".

Should get my PS5 today. The airport in Anchorage is notorious for delays in UPS packages. We will see.

I’ve had a couple crashes with Spider Man Remastered. I feel like they’ll get the kinks worked out shortly. I’m enjoying it even with the snags.

Sony prepared people for this when they said before launch that they will control the fan curve and variable clocks means they can underclock them to stabilize performance.

The issues you are seeing are frequent in PC gaming when you overclock to much of the GPU like artifacts on the screen and system freezing.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I haven't had one single issue none, and my PS5 has been in rest mode since I hooked it up on launch day. At this point both systems have had their share of issues.

Tracking shows it’s in town which means it will be delivered today! The good thing about not having a UPS store or facility on this island. Packages essentially go from the plane to the truck to peoples houses.

Your going to Love it man. The DS controller is defiantly a game changer IMO.

Yea but this happens normally happens in pc gaming while playing a game that pushed the pc not while just browsing the PlayStation store.

Sony Direct send me an email letting me pre-order from them, I was selected they say LOL!!! They probably saw how many digital games I have bought over the last 5 years and said here ya go.

1) I have not any any sort of freeze issues.

2) I ordered mine in mid-late September when I just happen to search Twitter for "PS5" and sorted by "latest." Some random dude just said, "Best Buy has them right now!" I already was logged in on my phone to BB and had credit card loaded. It still took me 45 minutes to actually get the charge to process, but that's how I got mine.

3) Will stores ever do deals for digital downloads? For instance, 2 for 1, but digital?

I have the digital edition which I love. No issues. ZERO--and I mean ZERO--noise from the machine itself. I'm hoping stores get with the times in regards to digital downloaded games. If not, they usually pop-up on sale on PSN around the same time Target and Best Buy does their Black Friday sales, for instance.
