I focused on bullpen. My first pick was 98 Joe Nathan and I got 90 K-rod. I should have got one more lefty for my pen. I usually took my starter out after one batter.

On offense i try to get a good balance of lefties n righties with power. You never want to draft too many left handed starters or youll get killed by your opponents pen. Draft mainly right handed guys with 2-3 lefties plus get 2-3 platoon bronze platoon guys who can hit lefties.

That strategy seems good but funny story a guy did that to me and first pitch after he changed pitchers i smashed a homer felt great.

Yes if you two mound visits. Bullpen is key in BR. Id use your diamond or gold plus add a few silvers.
