Re: Cost of Feeding Players

When I did Tony Gwynn I found the highest rated players that were the cheapest. It seemed to be a lot more efficient than the load of cheap cards I used to acquire Ichiro.

he means, buy guys with the highest rating possible with out spending over 500 on them type thing. instead of loading up on commons. Basically he is saying buy cheap silvers and golds.

Re: Cost of Feeding Players

I would not recommend buying cheap gold cards. I got Beltre by feeding him purely bronzes and a few left over commons, and I spent somewhere around 4-5K total.

I we take the scenario that a cheap gold costs around 1,500 stubs, and gives you 10% a pop, and lets pretend there's no decrease in feed value, you're looking at 15,000 stubs. The jump between bronzes, silvers, and golds is just too high to justify buying golds. Heck, it might be too high to buy silvers.

I'm still not still not entirely sure what you mean by feeding players. Are you talking about building up your created player? Are you talking about the player missions after you beat Conquest? I thought you had to play a bunch of innings with the team's players in order to unlock that card.

After the innings mission you get an "Embody" mission in which you feed players of a certain team to your player to get a reward.

Don't forget my point is you should be feeding your collection (unwanted players) to the player first, so if you take that into account. Then if you buy all silvers and one or 2 golds, it hurrys the process up, for the jays, I spent about 3K to Get Bautista, since Osuna was around 850 .
