The cool thing about DD is you can buy a player & try him out then sell him later if you want. Check the trends to help ensure you can at least sell them for a similar amount you bought them.

If you ended up buying it for 280, then reselling it for 480 minus 10% sales tax you would get 432 stubs. Then subtract what you paid, the 280, you would end up with a 152 stub profit

Re: Flipping Cards

So why are people selling silvers for 60 if they could just QS them?

That's one I would probably make. Always take into account the 10% off the buy now price. The question is: 480*.9-280. So thats 152, and shave 2 off that to be on the top of each list. So assuming you don't have to adjust the price because you got beat that's a profit of 150 stubs. That's good, considering you could flip that in 15-20 minutes max when the market is busy. I've started to shoot for profits of at least 200 but 150 obviously isn't bad.

Re: Flipping Cards

Thanks guys! Just read about flipping cards in this thread and started last week. Probably earned about 5k and put it towards a 20 pack. Also just learned that I can open packs on theshownation.com and after 18 packs my best pull was an 85 Russell Martin. Then on the 19th pulled my first diamond freshly 99'd Bryce Harper.

Nice! But i would quit buying packs while you are ahead. Ive been flipping since the start and have a solid team from buying guys in the market and doing collections. Packs are like a lottery and the house always wins haha.

Re: Flipping Cards

I found packs are good at the start when you don't have a lot of cards. It's a good way to get inventory quickly. But once I started completing collections I found the packs were pretty disappointing because I kept pulling cards I already had.
