This is just fun, and it's moments like this that are why I play DD the way I do. 9-inning vs. CPU game on Legend, and I'm only playing Marlins backup C Payton Henry to pick up some extra PXP for the City Connect program. In a lineup of mostly golds and diamonds, this common player does the unthinkable.

So there is a choice pack in the new Event, but not for the old Events players as of yet.

If they do end up putting previous event rewards in a pack at some point, as opposed to waiting for the end of the year, it'll be another huge w in a year of early w's so far

1 week in, and man, my grind has been intense.

As of today, I'm at about 300K XP, I've beaten every conquest map and have only the City program left. I got my 20 Event wins. And now I'm 4 strongholds away from beating the USA Map twice and getting enough prospects to get Adley without spending a cent.

I had baseball on my Mac while I was grinding out 3 inning games and lost a bunch on lower difficult levels because it just gets so repetitious. The grind definitely catches up, and I can see myself needing a break when I get my last FotF choice pack which is coming quickly. My pack luck also stinks, only 2 lower diamonds and no gatekeepers. I got 4 Trout pulls last year and at least 3 DeGrom, so it's going to be hard to beat that!

I was under the impression there was a new conquest today, not showdown. Probably not going to bother with it.

In fact, I might just not play at all until at least the Tuesday content drop. I'm already at about 450000XP, so there's no danger in not finishing the program. I actually feel punished for getting so deep this early. All the PXP grinding I was doing could have counted for so much more had I waited for the current programs and the week 2 missions.

I guess there’s still a lot of quitting in RS, even with the switch to the innings mission. I’m 5-0 and have only played 12 innings.

Edit: make that 7-0 in 14 innings. Score one run and the people just give up.
