Re: Wrestlemania Dirt

Did not say he needed the title but should at least want it.

I mean in general none of the wrestlers rarely in kayfabe say they want the title. It is so weird in NXT everybody does what they want because the intention is to get gold.

Re: Wrestlemania Dirt

At this point Brock is above the belt. Someone beating Brock Lesnar would be a bigger push than winning the title.

Re: Wrestlemania Dirt

Us in the ICW/Smark crowd are aware of this, but the character Brock Lesnar should not state this because it automatically buries the belt.

There was a time(now in NXT) in WWE where no one in kayfabe held no value higher than winning sometype of gold. Maybe just having a wrestlemania match or taker match. But on a week-to-week TV basis everyone is competing to win a title.

First off you're stealing my gimmick of calling everyone smarks around here.

Undertaker after about Mania 18, 19, 20 somewhere in there when the streak started being talked about, it became bigger than the title. It naturally happened with Taker winning every Mania match. Brock was built up to be bigger than the title, the domination over Cena, his title run, ending the streak, and winning the feud with Taker. I get that the title used to be the focal point of WWE, but that's not the case anymore as long as Taker, Brock, and Cena are still wrestling.

Yea I feel if you knock off Brock you are probably one of the biggest things in the whole company. Like Rollins no matter how much we liked or disliked him, he was one of the top guys in the company. And he knocked off Brock (twice). I would he say he was probably the #2 in the company right behind Cena because I don't think anyone will be higher than Cena.

Going through the years of me watching and following wrestling so beginning of the 2000s til like '05-'06. And then coming back in June/July of this year. The matches I would want to win if I were a WWE superstar would be:
1. Taker at Mania. Even beating him now still is a huge honor, IMO.
2. John Cena
3. Stone Cold or Rock (depending if I'm heel or face)
4. Lesnar

Re: Wrestlemania Dirt

It was a shoot!

LOL no seriously it would make a great story angle if Lesnar & Heyman adopted the whole "Bigger than the title" thing as the new gimmick.

Reigns vs. Cena, huh? I bet that will be crapped on by the crowd as much as Cena vs. Orton from Royal Rumble 2014.

Re: Wrestlemania Dirt

It's funny to go back and read all of the dirt over the past year. Here's what we all thought we could possibly see:

- Undertaker vs Sting
- Undertaker vs Cena
- The Rock vs Triple H
- The Rock/Rousey vs. Triple H/Stephanie
- The Rock vs Brock Lesnar
- Shield Triple Threat Match

And we won't even get one of those. Instead we're likely getting:
- Undertaker vs. Braun ****ing Strowman
- Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt
- Triple H vs. Roman Reigns

If I'm Vince and I'm serious about selling out Jerry World, I would shell out millions to get my legends to appear. With all of the injuries going on, they NEED legends to get that sellout. They apparently were already turned down by Batista. The Rock supposedly can't wrestle because of insurance issues. They're trying to get HBK involved in some capacity. Haven't heard anything about Austin though. Still too soon for Hogan. Hell if I was Vince, I'd pay The Rock and HBK $10 million each to wrestle each other and that **** wouldn't even need buildup.
