Arizona @ Providence

The pre-season tourneys championship game is going to be played between Arizona and Providence and is on Providence's homecourt of all places. To the action...

The beginning of the game was started off with a swift attack from Providence as Gomes and company was hitting shots early. A good effort by Mustafa Shakur kept Arizona in the game in the first half and trailed by 5 at halftime 55-50.

Ryan Gomes was killing me all over the court and Hassan Adams was the only one who could slow him down just a little and he did for most of the second half. Fast forward to 4 minutes left and it's notted up at 83 a piece when Providence gets on a run and never looked back winning 100-87... The home court advantage may of killed us down the strech, kind of weird that there home court is where the tourney is held and there in it....

Stats:
Ryan Gomes: 47 Pts, 18 Rebounds

Wildcats Stats:
M. Shakurr: 18 Pts, 5 Rebounds
S. Stoudamire: 12 Pts, 6 Rebounds, 6 Assists
H. Adams: 6 Pts, 4 Rebounds
I. Radenovic: 12 Pts, 7 Rebounds
C. Frye: 14 Pts, 13 Rebounds
C. Rodgers: 11 Pts
I. Fox: 8 Pts

Tough loss but it was tough circumstances and we will go play Virginia next game back at home....

An all together team effort against the Cavaliers had Arizona get the win 107-100.

Re: Arizona Wildcats Legacy - ESPN NCAA Basketball 2k5

Utah @ Arizona

After a quality win against Utah, they play a up and coming team in Utah and Arizona looked to continue their winning streak. Utah started off hot and Arizona was kinda sluggish early in the game but that would change by half as Arizona was down by four. In the second half, It was truely Salim Stoudamire's time as he was the only one keeping the Wildcats in this game and he kept barrying three after three and getting to the line a lot. Ok I'm down 101-98 with like 3 seconds left and when I pass it in bounds I get Int. Fouled twice and then the third team I said screw this and got Stoudamire a little room beyond the three point line and said when he caught it just to put it up and see what happens and he hit the three with 1 second left and sent the game into overtime...

Overtime

Stoudamire still was leading the way for Arizona but Utah kept answering and sent it into another overtime.

Overtime 2

Was domianted by Arizona as we finally put Utah away.

Stats:

S. Stoudamire: 47 Pts, 7-13 3PT, 12-13 FT
H. Adams: 15 Pts, 8 Rebounds, 4 Assists
C. Frye: 12 Pts, 17 Rebounds
I. Radenovic: 4 Pts, 12 Rebounds
M. Shakur: 4 Pts
J. Verdego: 6 Pts
D. Dillon: 5 Pts, 5 Reb, 3 Assts

What a game that was against Utah, Marquette is up next.

Re: Arizona Wildcats Legacy - ESPN NCAA Basketball 2k5

Arizona @ Marquette

A close game throughout most of the first half and the Wildcats were spreading the ball around well and forcing Marquette into some costly turnovers. The second half had Arizona keep Marquette mostly in check until the last couple minutes when they made a run but eventually Arizona pulled it out 100-97. Teams keep wanting to get in these shootouts with me and I keep winning.

Stats:

M. Shakur: 16 Pts, 3 Rebounds, 3 Assist
S. Stoudamire: 14 Pts
H. Adams: 21 Pts, 5 Rebounds
C. Frye: 11 Pts, 8 Rebounds
C. Rodgers: 10 Pts, 4 Rebounds, 4 Assists
J. Mclellan: 9 Pts
