SIXERS WIN UGLY(REAL UGLY) IN SACRAMENTO

Sacramento,Ca.-If I told you that a team shot 26% from the field and at the same time was torched for 36 points by Mike Bibby on fire you would think blowout right? Well not so if your the Philadelphia 76ERS.In a game that was downright awful,the Sixers defeated the Sacramento Kings 79 to 74 by doing 3 things right,playing tough D(the Kings shot 35%),getting to the free throw line(a season high 37 times) and dominant rebounding(63 boards,another season high) by doing these things right the Sixers overcame their offensive ineptitude to win their 14th game of the season.Andre Iguodala led the way for Philly with 23 points and 10 rebounds.Rodney Carney also came up big scoring 19 points in 11 minutes on 7 of 9 shooting.Coach Cheeks while happy with the win,promised his team would play much better in Portland.Here's the stats

While everyone here at TNT is all fun and giggles,we do have some important news to send your way on the injury front.First of all and most importantly,Dallas Mavericks superstar forward Dirk Nowitzki strained his abdominals and will be out for the next two weeks.Also injured was Milwaukee Bucks PG Maurice Williams who broke his wrist in the loss to Chicago,he'll be out at least a month.Finally Boston Celtics shooting guard Eddie House sprained his ankle in practice and will miss about 3 weeks.

CLIPPERS TRADE MAGGETTE TO SEATTLE

In a bit of a head scratcher,the Los Angeles Clippers have traded SF Corey Maggette( 10.3 ppg 4.5 rpg) to the Seattle Supersonics for journeyman center KURT THOMAS( 6.1ppg 8.6rpg) Reasons for the move are unclear at this time.

As you can tell,I haven't had much time to play lately because of work,family you know the small stuff.Anyway I'm gonna get back into it this week for those who were following.I'm using Nogsters updated all star sliders when I start back up.My record stands at 14 and 15 and I have two games left in December,At Portland and at Seattle.
