Great video showing how the limit of showing 300 players on the screen can "hide" a bunch of prospects from you:



I don't go out and try to "cheese" to get unrecruited 4-star recruits, but given the UI limitations I just realized there may be interested pipeline prospects that I don't even recruit because of this UI limitation.

New channel but I really like the content that Max Plays CFB is putting up! It’s definitely a different spin from the traditional sports gaming content I’ve seen over the years.

Is it just me, but does scheduling a visit really mean that much. If you look at it, it usually says 1 up green arrow for a win and 3 down red arrows for a loss. Wouldn't it just be better to keep hard selling for bigger bonuses and not have to risk a loss. Or is there some hidden bonus to bringing in a for a visit?

You should start out with 5 coaching points, the minute that you create the coach for your dynasty.

This is enough to select 1 skill from whichever archetype that you originally selected (recruiter, tactician, motivator). You do this from the Coach > Coach Ability screen. On Default XP, you will probably pick up a couple of coaching levels after your first game. You can go deeper into your pre-selected archetype, or you can open up another archetype (costs I think 15 points to gain access to one, then 5 points for each skill).

Some archetypes can only be unlocked by meeting certain dynasty requirements (like spending 50 points in recruiter and have 2 top 5 recruiting classes).

I never schedule visits or sway for that matter. I give max hours most of the time with a send the house plus. Then when it’s time I give max hours with a hard sell plus.

Its's definitely possible to get commits from people without a visit. I've got someone close to committing now so top 3 stage and meter about full. I'm not going to schedule a visit for the at least a few weeks.

On the other side I've got several people that have multiple offers and some of them better schools then me. So for them then I'll schedule a visit.

Because of this thread, I have had the Top 1 and Top 2 recruiting classes the last two years in my dynasty.

With JMU my class is usually in the 40s.
