This article by the Tennessean goes into some detail on the musical side of the game and even has a video clip where you get to hear part of the menu music.



I like the way it sounds. Reminds me more of the NCAA Basketball games than the football games, but those always had better music anyways, imo.

I wouldn't mind if the soundtrack consists mainly of bands and fight songs. I just want to hear and think College Sports. I rather them limit licensed music to the music they secured the licenses for crowd audio or traditions. For example, if they secured the license for tracks like "Jump Around" or Enter the Sandman" since certain schools use that at certain points. I would be okay with those songs on the track list.

I did notcie that as well. Since it's been known for the last 3 years that the NCAA wouldn't be associated, I feel that is something that wasn't done on EA's part. It could be as simple as someone saying "Hey we're working on the soundtrack of the new NCAA game". I still hear some people online call it the new NCAA game

But, I do like the emphasis of the fight songs and bands. That's all I want.

Yea, I wouldn't be surprised if they sent over the sheet music and the studio printed them off themselves for the band and they didn't know better and just put NCAA on there. Would also explain why it says 2024 on it instead of '25 like we know it is.

I do look forward to hearing in a video game performances of all the schools' fight songs which aren't performed by a Russian military band.

I think those had mostly filtered out of the game by the time NCAA 14 came out, but there were a few still hanging around. Notably all the generic fight songs intended for TeamBuilder and generic band music stings for first downs and whatnot were still that Russian band originally recorded in like 2002 lol.
