This could add another level to recruiting even at a big school like I will be in Georgia with the wear and tear mixed in plus the portal. I could bring in a 3* in state QB that i have no intentions will ever be a starter for me. If I see he can be a 3rd string QB that can handle road games and gives me pre snap adjustments if I get some injuries. Maybe he is the type of guy I can easily get a commit for and has a priority of playing in state

There is a better than decent chance CFB is the end of the world as Madden knows it. I wouldn't be surprised if Madden switches gears next year and kicks it up a notch or two and really brings it. So much potential for a great ( and friendly) rivalry within EA between the two.

While I don’t know if this release will have me skipping the next year of CFB, I do know that Madden is dead to me and I fear that 2k will be far on the back burner to the point that I’m not even playing it anymore.

I'm likely buying next years addition just to get Delaware. After that, not sure. I still think there is a good chance we get full roster editing in 2026+ because of the rev sharing and inevitable players union. But that's all up in the air right now.

I haven't been this excited for a game since.... Oh yea, NCAA 14.

I must admit though, it's a lot easier now being 40 and having kids and life taking over. Back then, every second seemed to take hours leading up to July.

I'm hyped though. As long as they stay as far away as they can from Maddens X factor, I'm good.

Haven't you heard, they don't ride the bench anymore my friend. That 3* in-state QB that you have no intentions of starting will be in the portal heading to Georgia Tech lol.
