For me, Game Stop Mid-Night release days.

Grown men standing in line talking about the game, then getting your copy in your hands being downright pumped/gritty all the way home.

Miss those days!!!

Out of curiosity, if you were in charge of making a college football game, what ideas would you come up with?

As for my opinion, this game looks amazing and I’m excited. The features they’ve put in have already exceeded my expectations considering EA’s history.

Anyone else notice the QB “hand clap” to signal the snap? I saw someone asking about this yesterday and was glad to see they put it in.

Let’s go July!!

This was EAs chance to truly make a new football game from the ground up. That’s what I would’ve done. Madden has a small die hard fan base and a ton of players who play it because it’s the only football game. I’m dying for something new. This is not new.

2-3 games in and this will be repetitive for me because I’ve already played this countless times over the last 20 years. The new car smell wears off and the same routes are effective and the same ones don’t work because the ball trajectory or player reaction is the same as always.

The ideas are fine. I liked the presentation vid with the intros. Wear/tear is fine…. but I don’t trust EA on this foundation to implement it without it being over or under done. Every qb takes a hit and can’t complete their next pass or it’s so negligible it has no effect on the game anyways. And it just screams EA. You can’t have a new game, even the first one in a decade without having buzzwords to sell progressive injuries in the game.

I’m really hoping weather impacts the kicking game as noted.

This actually will give tangible on-field purpose to kickers & their ratings, esp since I stop using the L-Stick & only used the button press to determine weather my kick goes L or R & how much.

Also that the meter’s Orange, Yellow, Green, Red zones are dictated by the kick ratings/Badges

I don’t hate the on-field gameplay of Madden as much as most people.

They’re both football games. They’re going to look similar. From what we can see in the clips it looks faster. It looks like there is a bigger difference between good and bad players. Those are both good things but it’ll take a much bigger sample size than this video to see how that really feels. It should feel more “wide open” with more plays being broken, more blown coverages, more bad angles, etc. We won’t really know if it nailed that aspect until the game is in everyone’s hands, though the mental ability system indicates they’re at least trying to do that.

My punt team is going to be super happy they don't have to go stand out in formation the last 10-15 seconds of the game after 3 kneel downs.

The high snap caught my eye & I’m praying “mis-snaps” are in fact negative impacts within the Composure System, esp on top of the adverse weather impacts.

No more cross-fades and chaotic defensive audibles in no-huddle?

Thank the lord.
