Are We Overhyping College Football 25

I never get tired watching Osceola ride out on Renegade and plant the spear. Never get tired of seeing team's pregame pageantry in real life so I doubt I'll get tired of the animations in the game. It'll get me hyped each time I'm jumping into a game in dynasty. I never got tired of it before and it didn't look as good as this looks to.

I fear many people will be let down by different aspects or limitations of the game that they fail to recognize while still locked into the hopeful, nostalgic dopamine dump to come.

I think the game will be great, and I am already thankful for the efforts put in thus far. I am just a logical person who knows certain things the team probably wanted to get done will come along in the next edition of the game, and people will see that as EA being capitalistic when they are just allowing their team to do what they can with the time allotted with this version of their product.

People are concerned that the intros will be repetitive. That does not bother me so much because most of these in the real world are repetitive. When dynasty the players will change even they are the same positions. Just having full complete intros is all I need.

That brings me to what don’t want to have. For those of us that have play EAFC24 I don’t like their abbreviated cut scenes for intros. I want full intro to set the stage of the game. Those short intros in soccer fail to set the stage of the match. They show a few cut scenes then you are thrown into a match right a kickoff. No starting lineups, no team anthems and no competition themes either. If College Football 25 avoids this it will be just fine for even it does repeat. If you get if the same intros then maybe use another school to change things up to make a new challenge and new intro.

No, we are happy that there’ll be a new sports game coming out and it’s college football and the nostalgia is kicking in.

I think we have a tendency as human beings to overthink things at times. It's a video game to be enjoyed first and foremost. It's a game series, that happens to have been a favorite of many, including myself, that was gone for 11 years and is now back. No game in the history of video games has been perfect and never will be.

Ultimately it's up to the user/consumer, to take what's given and make the most/best out of it. So, I wouldn't call it overhyped at all. I just see a bunch of people that's been on this board for as long as I have that's HYPED for it! This game would have to be on the level of Mike Ditka Power Football for it to be a let down for me. That's just me.

No. Trying to overhype The Return is like trying to overhype if time travel was discovered to be possible, or barbecue, or sex. Is it SuperHyped? Sure, but with very good reason.
