For sure, the Rece & Co. broadcast team is by far the better of the 2 options.

I’m sure this has been asked or mentioned but I legit can’t find it. But in the roster updates, does it not take into account real life injuries (specifically season ending ones that happened early or in pre season)?! If not how have you all handled that to have “real” rosters.

Re: EA Sports College Football 25 Q&A

Does anyone know how XP for in-game goals is applied? For example, if I get 2 XP points for a first down on offense, who gets 2 XP points? Everyone on the field? Every offensive player? Every player on the team? Random players? How do we even track this? Also, the Field Study ability in the Architect coaching tree supposedly boosts the XP gain from in-game goals. Do we know how much said boost is? Is it consistent? Is that ability worth it to maximize player XP?

I may be mistaken but I believe those in game goals and XP gains are for you as a coach, not the players.

I mean possibly, but there must be some sort of player in-game XP based on the description of the Field Study ability. If it's not those green bar XP gains that are popping up throughout the game, then what are the XP gains for players and how are they earned and/or tracked?

The OpSports article may answer it for you but from what I skimmed, player progression is “under the hood” during offseason and has some basis on season stats, but no explanation by EA of a formula.

Re: EA Sports College Football 25 Q&A

Does anyone know why certain guys can’t be cut/encouraged to transfer?

I know we can’t cut freshmen, but I see a lot of seemingly random players greyed out saying I can’t cut them. I think maybe it won’t let you cut a guy immediately following a redshirt, but I can’t figure out much more of a rhyme or reason to it

Re: EA Sports College Football 25 Q&A

This is pretty specific lol, but why is arch manning speed so slow? I wanted to do a dynasty and pick up with arch in year 2+…. Feel like his speed is one of his strengths, keep watching highlights where it shows him with big runs and they show how he hit like 20+mph and stuff.

Idk maybe I’m mistaken, but seems weird for them to get that rating so wrong for such a high profile player whom is a very popular player. Like it’d be one thing for it to be a little off, but 76 is comparatively super slow for a qb in this game. Idk more of a vent but was curious if anyone else frustrated by that
