We are both in the B1G, so the schedule was somewhat similar. They went 3-2 against ranked teams and I was 3-0. They lost 2 games to untanked opponents (at Oregon State, at Illinois). They started the season with a win over #10 Ohio State followed by a win over #22 Boise State. Their games #6, 7, 8 were

#1 Michigan State 44-46 (Loss)

#13 Michigan 41-0 (Win)
#11 Oklahoma State 28-35 (Loss)


Oklahoma State was their last loss (and last ranked opponent) until I beat them a second time in the B1G Championship Game. I was #1 after than win, but there was no reason for them to jump me after I defeated them. In my opinion.

Agreed. I can't stand the new Coaching Carousel too. I wanted to leave the OC job at Michigan State to take over as a G5 Head Coach. My offers were P5 HC or OC jobs. I tried to select the HC at Jacksonville State from the other openings and it refused with a message that it was a step down from my current position. They aren't even allowing me to play as I want to play. I really doubt Jacksonville State wouldn't talk to me because I was "overqualified" for their opening.

At this point I mostly just have a problem with their lip service to this great sandbox they were providing us. Its about as locked down as I've ever seen..more actually.

Honestly, through three full seasons, I've yet to see anything truly outlandish, at least as far as final standings go. In year two, I did see an unbeaten Oklahoma team ranked as #3 behind two teams with one loss each but looking at the strength of schedule, I kind of made sense since it was Penn State (who ran the table in the Big 10, only losing to my Northwestern Wildcats during the season but came away with a W in the B10 Championship Game) and Georgia (their only loss was to #6 Alabama).

It's wrong but with the playoffs it shouldn't matter much for the best teams.

Unfortunately the biggest issue for me is probably low on the list due to all the other issues and that's the QB issue in coach mode.

As per usual in the current video game landscape, shout out to the people paying $70 to be beta testers. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is worth buying anymore within at the very least a month of release. They have no reason to change if the customers aren't changing.

It’s really pathetic how many things in this game were not even halfway “complete”. If we didn’t know before we can be assured that EA thinks its core fan base is basically stupid. Terrible poll logic, sim stats not even approaching terrible, no editing of FICTIONAL recruits plus 100 other things. Maybe 6 months in we will have a Dynasty mode that actually functions.
