I’ve looked at that tab before. Are you saying that the 5 abilities listed there are the only ones available for that tendency? I always assumed those were the 5 out of a lot more than 5 that that specific recruit randomly had assigned. So all tendencies have 5 and only 5 possible physical abilities?

As far as I can tell, this is exactly the case. Ability eligibility looks like it is gated by player tendency first, and then what level ability a player has is gated a second time by threshold values in a specific player rating. For example, the Step Up ability at Platinum level requires a Field General QB with at least 94 MAC.

This isn't like Madden where a player can potentially have any available ability at his position. To that end, player tendency matters a whole lot more in this game than it does in Madden.

Thanx for the info. This is great to know. I’ve had people change tendencies inexplicably while position changing (I.e. a power RT became a pass protection LT) and didn’t think it was a big deal, but if that changes his available abilities, I’ll have to pay more attention to it.
