In dynasty, open the player card, scroll over to "more" and open the stats tab. Hit the left trigger, and scroll down to "traits." It will show the position specific traits of the player. You still can't edit them, but you can see your qbs style, sense of pressure and decision maker traits, for example. It only shows the ones they have, so if tight spiral is a no, it just won't be listed, but if its a yes, it will be there.

Sorry if that's not what you're talking about and I'm misunderstanding.

Ahhhhhhhhh sweet! I didn't know that. Thanks for posting that man!

Re: Oregon, why are you this way?

The damned Ducks got us again…. This time with the 2nd worst defeat in my 9 years (Miami beat my Louisville team 48-0). We were both undefeated (6-0 UM and 7-0 OU) and ranked in the top 3.

It was total and complete domination on both sides of the ball. Their QB completed 21/22 passes where his only incompletion was when the WR caught the ball just out of bounds in the end zone, so he came about 1 yard away from a perfect 22/22. Most QBs complete 50-65ish% of their passes against us. They added a solid 177 on the ground at a nice clip of 5.7 YPC.

Oh, as for relevance, clearly this Oregon QB never threw the ball away, so that must be a Gabriel thing and not an Oregon QB thing.

Defensively they held me to 176 yards of offense (I average 412 YPG) and 75 rushing yards (I average 213).

For comparison, I also included my PSU game (the other really good team I’ve played this season so far) where I rushed for 240 and passed for over 200 while holding them to only 180 yards of total offense.

In my dynasty the Ducks are definitely king of the jungle. I was even better than them too as in my 3rd year @ Michigan my team is a ridiculously rated 94/95/94 (Oregon is 91/92/91 as the best rated CPU team).

This may be a semi continuation of the ratings don’t matter thread, but I can’t understand how to fix this or why the logic is such.

I got cooked by Ulatowski from Kent State. The Gophers starters pretty soundly out-spec the Golden Flashes in ratings. Ulatowski stood in the pocket and delivered. Not always accurately, but we played a tight game and he was gutty.

That’s one game, but this is representative of so many games against non-P4 teams. Have you seen Ball State recently? For some reason their depth chart is ****ed(go look) and their quarterback(cornerback? I literally had to google them to make sure that it wasn’t some mid season position swap)was very bad but made some throws on third down. Northern Illinois. That quarterback is a hero. Marshall. Gutty.

I play Oregon, which I’ve overused as my check for sliders against good teams and Dillon Gabriel throws the ball out of bounds on third and 5s like hes saving time on a two minute drill. I saved a first quarter third down where I ran a nickel cover 2 to moderate coverage success and my end got minor leverage 4 yards from him and he fired that ball from the pocket 15 yards into the sideline.

Maybe it’s less the team strength than it’s simply Oregon. Has anyone played Oregon with a middling team? Is their playbook ****ty? I played a couple games against them trying to sub in different playbooks with mixed results(too few for any conclusions). I’ve been fighting sliders largely based on Oregon being the high control. I’ve played probably two dozen games against this team. They’re bad.

You logic engine experts - what is this?

Oh. And for further relevance, these are the tendencies of the Oregon QB that went 21/22 with 0 throw aways to compare to Gabriel.

Oregon, why are you this way?

Oregon and Clemson for that matter have kicked me upside down pretty much every time I play them. Autzen has been a nightmare for me in particular.

That and they have taken so many recruits from me I’ve been close to signing. I really hate Oregon.

Re: Oregon, why are you this way?

I don’t know what to tell you. I sincerely wish my outcomes weren’t backwards. I just had Akron throw for 325 yards in the second half on VA Tech defense to come from down 17 and win. I’d suggest I’m just not very good or not able to scheme properly or even that’s an outlier outcome(Great!), but playing against superior teams results in the opposite type of outcome(sloth? dead-***?)

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, and I’ve searched for answers on what to do with my game, but I keep getting outcomes and stats that are seemingly the opposite of what the ratings suggest. Apparently I gave a broken copy? It’s literally as if the teams are inverted. I’m ready to get with the delete my XBox profile nonsense. I’d hang the ****er on my ceiling or play on the deck if I could get those outcomes even half the time.

I’m not attacking the game and have zero interest in being adversarial, it’s just not playing the way I’d hoped. Consistently. Goddamn once I want to get my *** kicked by a superior team, and maybe every so often dominate a trash team.

I’ve found the game is streaky. I really struggled both offensively and defensively at first this season. Needed a game winning field goal to beat EMU, lost to Stanford and liberty giving up 38 points in each game.

Since then I’ve been on a tear for 5 straight games. Against equal/better/lesser competition I’m giving every offense fits. I’ve only given up two touchdowns in 5 games. I’ve legitimately given up more points on pick sixes in this stretch than my defense.

Kinda hoping the dominance ends but in a way I still win lol

What skill level do you play on? Any slider adjustments at all? Do these type outcomes happen on each level?

On the heels of this comment I had an offensive shootout against Wazzu, was up 34-28 with under 2:00 and they had the ball and I got a pick 6 to seal the victory lol
