I'm so glad I paid $50 to spend countless hours fixing EA's pathetic screwups!
Talk about 'quality' control. This company is a joke.

Re: Sim engine fix for NCAA 2006

Some of the bros over at MaddenMania have released a file that covers Blacklover's roster update, the coaches' names, and the sim engine fix that is spoken of... Really appreciate the hard work they put into making this game enjoyable for the rest of us.... Just a heads up... I'm gonna download it now.... OUT

Re: Sim engine fix for NCAA 2006

Now here is what I came up with using the same coaching settings for each team's offense and defense. However on the cons/agres sliders I put both the offense and defense at 0 (farthest to the left -- completely cons.) for every team. I maxed the subs for all teams as well (farthest to the right -- the most).

To me the numbers are very comparable, in fact I think they may be more accurate. The question is now on raising the defensive aggression for each team (same amount) to hit some better numbers.

Plus the time spent is reduced considerably.

I think you're on to something, there has to be a way to increase the number of sacks and INTs. I simulated a year and the NCAA leader had 10 sacks and 5 INTs. My QB had a 175+ rating and wasn't even on the 2nd team for the conference. The passing stats are ridiculous. If you need any help with simulation stats, count me in.

Re: Sim engine fix for NCAA 2006

when the max rushing yards in a season is less than 1900 yds there is a big problem. you can be #1 rushing offense and avg less than 200 yds per game. Last year 20 teams averaged more than 200yd/game with a couple over 300.

And it is funny to give up 105 yds per game and have the 60th ranked rush defense...LOL.
