You and I might think that, but they might not.

Just like you and I might think Madden has gotten worse and won't sell more, but it does.

Who knows? Maybe they feel they can eventually turn roster into a lucrative add-on business for their product. Either way, money is exchanging hands and EA is being left out of the loop. As a business that's not what I would want.

And yes, I know the NCAA rules do not allow them to use player names and likenesses. But they may be incorporating this across the board on all their titles.

It's still unknown whether or not the PS3 version does not allow sharing of roster files.

As far as I can tell the system OS does not keep track of profile information on game saves. EA could have forced this issue if they require it of THEIR games, however...

All they would have to do is make the save unusable unless you are logged in with your EA profile. Simple coding if it's as easy as it seems...
