My QB has a speed of 89 and sometimes he still gets run down by linemen. I don't get that at all. I think it's a must that you use a running QB in this game though. My guy got hurt, and the back up was brought in, and I sucked so bad. I need my mobility.

I've just learned to live with the fact that I'm going to get sacked 3 or 4 times a game. If you panic and sprint backwards or sideways you are bound to get sacked. I have a friend who does the speed burst backwards and it takes his OL out of position and the pocket collapses, his sacks are more like 7 or 8 a game. Its best to stay in the pocket because you're going to get sacked either way, it just seems like I get sacked less when I'm not scrambling around.

i agree with getting hit more when scrambling but I think that is a a.i. issue, how many times have you been scrambling just to watch your receivers just stare at you as opposed to trying to help you I think to make that situation more realistic you need a panic button so that your lineman know you ar e on the move and the receivers actually move to help you.

It doesn't help that the animations suck you into a sack. That pisses me off greatly.

I boost my pass block too. I'm finding on AA that I will make the same slider adjustments for the CPU on offense and defense as I do for myself - all except pass block. I drop theirs and boost mine. They have all day to throw the ball and my QB is on his back more often than Britney.
It all boils down to the DEs and DTs ratings IMO. I did notice they have high speed and pass rush ratings, while most balanced QBs have very low speed ratings... It's not really that big of a deal to me. I haven't changed any QB speed ratings becasue I know in real life football sometimes if your flushed out the pocket you get whatever the defense allows you.

As for the slider adjustments I agree... The only one I did bump up lately was CPU RBA. I felt like the CPU wasn't running the ball well at all(another topic). I think I'm going to leave the CPU's alone and increase my own PB until I start to see 2-3 sacks a game instead of 4 plus. More than Britney

I know right... The defender is like 3-4 feet away and your furiously pressing buttons to get ride of the ball then suddenly your controllers wireless rechargeable battery crashes to the floor.

Yep.

I played on default rosters, Stanford vs Arizona State. I lost 17-6. 5 minute quarters.

I actually liked the game except for the fact that I had no room to breathe period. I must've gotten sacked 12 times. Stanford's OLine is a joke though, but damn, they come fast and come furious.

And this was on varsity default. Thankfully I haven't encountered an INT problem but maybe that's just because I suck so bad at coverage.

Also, yeah, it sucks you into an animation. Your just screwed when a DE or DT comes near you.

Jump the snap should be out of the game. I don't use it because I don't control my defense but I'm sure it's far less effective for the human than it is for the cpu. I hate seeing a guy swim over my lineman as soon as the ball is snapped. I'm getting sacked instantly when that happens. Also, you don't have control of whether you throw the ball or not in these situations. You shouldn't throw the ball but still.
