Maybe that's what they were going for with wide open gameplay?

I want to see more actual gameplay vids though.

No I'm with you. I thought it looked really good.

Re: Another New Gameplay video courtesy of IGN

After watching some of the jukes and poor tackling animations, I find it hard to believe EA/Tiburon can confidently call this game a SIM. I can understand giving the user more control but there are ways to do that without going over the top. Watching the ballcarrier do insane (read as impossible) double jukes & spins is enough to make your stomach turn if you're a Simulation football fan.

There wasn't a whole lot new in the video but what was new was disturbing. Now i wish i wouldn't have watched it.

Some of the spins against the momentum of the player's body were outlandish. But I no longer care that much about the game being a true sim. I just want it to be fun again like the old PS2 versions were. Those weren't really sim either but I still loved them and that's the bottom line.

I hear you. I'm starting to think I'd be better off ignoring IGN altogether.

So its a little of ...
As long as the Ugly doesnt happen too much. I just want to know what level this was played on. Every RB broke at least 1 or 2 tackles. I thought last year the Juke system was pretty fair. Not like in the past where 1 on 1 you were guaranteed to juke the cpu. I'll still get it becuz i'm a CFB fan but just like someone said, this video makes it look very Arcade-ish.

You saw that too huh? Something pulled him, maybe the Blair Witch or something.
