That's a good point. Last year the patch took forever. Hopefully they'll be quicker about it this year, although I wouldn't count on the CPU deep ball being fixed.

The good news is I think the game will be very fun even w/out a patch. I wasn't interested at all in the game, but now I'm pretty excited about it.

Does anyone know if the patch will fix the lack of pass rush we have been hearing about? That is the one issue that will kill the game for me if not resolved

The demo. The variety of plays I've seen has been amazing...even on Varsity.

There's a lot of things I'm not happy with, but there's enough there that I can immerse myself into.
