So The Kickoff Coverage Hasen't Been Fixed

Don't know if punt returns were supposed to be fixed but I just returned one to the house and the pursuit angles were horrible. The gunners may have came in but the defense still mimicked my every movement. The pursuit angles needed to be fixed just not the gunners. My punt return should have been easily cut off at around the 40.

Hey. I just played a game where the CPU averages 23 yards a return.
Compared to my last game, pre patch, where the CPU averaged 30 yards a return.

I just looked back at my previous games. 40yd returns were the norm.
This game the longest was 30.

Plus my fastest people on kickoff, (gunners) made the tackles, which is what they are there for.
It seems fine to me.

Even I only averaged 30yds a return this game with a long of 34.

BluenGold - I am playing on Heisman Difficulty with NJPapi's sliders set for USER and CPU.

My first game post patch was against FCS SE with UAB (hardly a great way to measure patch effectiveness). I am going to play South Carolina now and I will let you know all the stats.

(PS- pre-patch last night I beat Tennesee 10-7)

I thought there were a few things (ROBO QB, Kick/Punt Returns and random dumb CPU running out of bounds plays) that needed to be fixed but I really enjoyed the game even before the patch.

Strafe catching seems to be gone completely now.

I had around the same averages. The first thing I noticed was I had 2 or 3 guys in on the tackle even though I kicked it to the outside. I normally only see this if I kick it straight down the middle.

In less than a half I have returned a punt for a td and the cpu has returned a kick so I am going to have to side with Old on this one.

Thanks, I am interested to see what your results are. I just deleted all my sliders, as I figured once we all figure out what was fixed properly and could have used a little more tuning, we will start to see some sliders sets pop up to hopefully compensate for the patch's strengths and weaknesses.

Wow, I am just not seeing the same thing right now MGO, but then again I am just starting out again on default All American....what level are you playing, as I was playing Heisman, with a slider set before the patch.
