Your thoughts on Season Showdown

I just think they could of taken the people that worked on SS and have them work solely on in game presentation and add things that have more of an effect on people playing a game. I should also state I am no game designer and don't know what goes into making a game but this would seem to make sense.

This is where I disagree, unless these people couldn't have been working on anything involving gameplay or something else that would help improve the game that others focus more on.

However, if they could of had these people adding to presentation, gameplay, online, or dynasty then it does take away from the game.

I do not know though and maybe it is a case where they already had enough people on those teams so these people had to work on something.

I'm sure they could have had the Season Showdown people work on something else but since this is VERY easy to program I don't think we're talking about a significant amount of resources/dev time.

I don't really get why they're milking it so much though. Could be a marketing thing. You can't market a game based on tweaks and fixes even though that's what people like us are looking for.

i think your latter statement is closer to the truth. Also they could of started working on this any number of years ago and just been adding to it. point is none of us know how much time was spent on it or what else could of been added if they didn't bother with it. all we can do is wait for the game to come out and judge it as a whole not sit here on a message board arguing over every feature and wether it's a waste of time or not.
