An honest assessment of NCAA 10 cannot be made by anyone who has not played it.

LOL, whenever some starts off a post/thread with "Honest Assessment", its a 100% mortal lock that they're going to bash the hell out of a game.

Its as if people who love a game can recognize that how they feel about a game is just their opinion, but those who hate a game are convinced that what they feel is the undeniable truth.

"No, no I'm not bashing, its just an 'Honest Assessment', really"

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yea, if you are talking about gameplay and gameplay alone. These games need more than just gameplay adjustments. Elements like that you CAN see before you play the game, and its those elements we havent seen in NCAA 2010 that we are seeing in Madden 2010.

We won't be able to make a final judgment on both NCAA and Madden 10 until September. By then, both games will be patched, the first series of bugs will be dealt with, and people will have found all the exploits and glitches.

A very good point. 'TBH' is a disclaimer for 'I'm about to say something bad about something.'

Thats a start. Presentation upgrades. Details. Details can give a game longevity. Why do you think NFL 2K5 is still brought up? They did things with their presentation/atmosphere that causes the game to still be played today, its why Ian is taking a page from their book and adding alot of their presentation features to Madden 2010.
