What about the PSP version guys? Is it a straight working port of the PS2 game with stripped back presentation and modes? Can you swap dynasty data with your PS2 game and play dynasty on the go? Because if you could do that I would probably just grab both of those and give the PS3 version a wide berth. Currently I'm playing NCAA 06 on the big black Xbox and am loving it to bits and pieces. I would expect a bit of a step down in graphics for the PS2 version but wouldn't care if it plays well.

PS2 online isn't dead. That dude is freaking out over nothing. Its a concept cover, not the real thing. Every year they put out a cover that has just the E logo and the NCAA logo. By the time you buy the game there is a featuring ESPN logo in the corner and of course the online version

Re: Who's going with the PS2 version?

I wonder if EA would do something like remake the last gen version and sell it as an alternative? Seriously, how stoked would would you be if all they said was "we're going to iron out the graphics of the last gen version and bring it up to speed with current technology"? I never pre purchase games but if they came out with that I'd be down there today reserving a copy.

Just think if they would have leveraged the next gen technology and horse power to live'n up the sidelines, smooth out the aliasing, shoe horn in thousands of annimations...if they did that and kept the gameplay of last gen just think where we'd be today....I guess I can dream.

I'm actually more stoked for the Wii version of Madden this year than am I am for any of the other games...it may be the only "next gen" football I buy.

Does the ps2 version still have create a school and also will it have accelerated clock? I'm seriously considering buying a ps2 again. I regret selling it.

Re: Who's going with the PS2 version?

Hey guys. I have a few questions regarding PS2 version's of 2009 and now 2010.

The last version I played was 2007 on the PS2 because of the joke that NCAA 2007 was on 360. It was a very, very good game I thought. I LOVED 2006 as well and played the crap out of that title.

My question is the gameplay still open? Can you make user catches and picks at your own control? That's what I loved about the PS2 series. Being able to go up and get the ball, rely on your own skills and moves.... For example, I loved using Calvin Johnson and abusing 1 on 1 coverage... but on the other side I loved helping against a freak WR with a safety to cut his legs out or make a pick to make sure he wouldn't come down with it.

Can I assume 2009 was like that? I enjoyed 2009 for 360 to some degree... but this year it has taken a step back in terms of user catching, and player controls... it's like running in mud.

Thoughts appreciated and thanks.
