Then the process recycles itself again for the impressions thread next season. So like I said I think we should just keep this impressions thread forever and just keep it stickied to the top of the page as it will be the same. exact. thing. next year.

So...like ODogg. I played one more game. A double OT thriller that saw OSU (me) lose to Georgia (CPU) 41-38. Got a greatest game score of 2669. Was fantastic and I don't feel bad about the loss because it was such a great game. A few more impressions and then I'm really calling it a night.

- I was down 31-24 with just over a minute left. I set my defensive strategy to aggressive and OSU tried to rip the ball out every play. I got lucky and stripped the ball out of their starting RB's hands on a dive play. 2 plays later, a 21 yard TD pass to Dez with 8 seconds left took it to OT.

- Once we got to Overtime, Georgia won the toss and elected to.....go on offense first. That really sucked. Big time logic issue there. I thought that was getting fixed.

- Replays are still iffy. I saw one play that was over-turned that shouldn't have been. Likewise, I saw a TD reception caught out of bounds stay a TD reception after review. (Luckily the fumble I caused stayed a fumble, as it should have)

- Made a bad throw with Robinson off his back foot due to pressure from the CPU and he threw a horrible pass no where near the intended target. This both sucked and was great, as I actually saw that not every pass is on the money.

- You can attempt to ice the CPU kicker. (Was this in last year?) Georgia lined up for the game winning FG in the 2nd overtime and I called timeout. It went to the same special camera and slow-mo action. He still nailed it right down the middle though.

-While saving highlights, you can actually view the replay of the play. What I mean is, other than just choosing which pre-determined angle to view the play from, you can also access the actual replay of the highlight just like you would any other instant replay. I did this a few time to grab a few snapshots as I knew this was going to be a greatest game (Maybe this was in last year too? If so, my bad)

-Menus (stats/edit players) seem a little more sluggish than 09, though not as bad as 08. Maybe it's just met though.

And to the poster above me, at least rent it and decide for yourself. You're free to have your opinion but you should at least check out the differences. You can tell right off the bat that this game is not the same as 09, or even the demo.

Buckeyes win the re-match with Wisconsin 41-24. That's more like it! The Buckeyes really like that homefield advantage I guess.

I was a hard core online player for '09. Lovvvvved the game. Got 2010 from my hook up up in LA area earlier today. Got home, first thing I did was to set my audibles and got online to play a game. I can tell you this for 100% absolute sure... Qbs do NOT have the time they had last year. I will need some time to adapt to the new feel of the game, but no amount of adjusting is gonna save QB's this year. The DL rush is there and it's there with a sledgehammer. In '09 I was a master at snapping the ball, doing a quick pump fake, and getting outside the pocket. In 2010? Fuh get about it. The DL is 2x faster than '09. Is this a good thing? YES. Guys like me won't have the time to pick apart defenses like we did in '09. It will give games more of a sim feel and lower the scoring.
