Maybe he's tired of the barrage of crap he gets while trying to be helpful by listening to the community. And perhaps its even more annoying when its completely possible its not even their fault...

If my feelings got hurt by bad things being said about EA, I would configure my browser so I couldn't even view this message board if I wanted to! Yet I post here.

You guys are a bunch of meanies!

Do you happen to have a non EA game that has trophies that you can test this on? I can't really find out for sure why this is restricted until I talk to an engineer that handles save/load functionality on Monday, but I am very curious.

Re: ATTENTION!! No Files can be copied!!

This sounds like something similar to the MS restrictions Adam spoke of. Prior to the EA Locker, 360 users had to use a fairly elaborate work around to share roster files:

Quote:
  • start your 360 without a game in the disc tray;
  • once you get the files onto the mem card, you have to (1) move the gamer profile to the hard drive and log into it and then (2) move the roster to the hard drive;
  • while still signed in to the new profile, insert the disc, close the tray and load the game. The roster should load automatically, if not load it manually;
  • Here's the key step. Once the roster is loaded, log out of this profile and log into your own. Immediately save the roster (which will still be the one you loaded under the generic profile) under your own profile.
Maybe the PS3 folks can come up with something similar.

Re: ATTENTION!! No Files can be copied!!

he didn't have to have that as his 1st sentence.

i'm sure he has grown a thick skin to look past those comments and answer the question at hand.

looking at his comments now it does seem like he has a sense of humor.
not say, "hey guys stop talking bad about my employer".

just sayin.
