Would you guys say that this is Cheesing? I understand that in real football teams run down the 40 second play clock and snap it at one, but 20 seconds does not magically come off the clock while the play clock doesnt move. It would be more acceptable if the chew clock feature ran down the game time and the play clock at an accelerated rate, that would be fine instead of sitting there for 15-20 seconds waiting on the clock to go to one or two seconds. Say you are winning and want to run down the time, there is 1:24 seconds on the game clock and you choose your play with 20 seconds on the play clock. The chew clock should take the game clock AND the play clock down 12 seconds so that when you break the huddle you have 8 seconds to snap the ball and the game clock is now at 1:12. Just my thought. Also while i am ranting (ha ha) they need to tweek the aggresive strip ball strategy. It shouldnt give you a personal foul everytime you takle someone. Other than that i LOVE this game and i think ea did a great job and it looks really great.
What?!?!

Do you know exactly how it works?

Would you rather only wait 12 seconds after the huddle, or wait 25 seconds?

Either way they are going to kill the clock, so what's the problem?

Wish granted. Chew Clock is off. now they'll just run the clock down by sitting at the LOS for 25 seconds instead of 10.

come on guys read the whole thread before you type its only two pages ha ha. I have realized my error and admitted it. I guess i am the only one that sees running down the clock in the second qtr as unsportsmanlike.

Re: I HATE the chew clock feature!

I agree, it's only used correctly if you turn it on in the 4th quarter. Since normal quarter in the game are 5 minutes, I think that waiting until the halfway point is pointless. BTW, how is it cheesing if you're playing smart football?

AHHH your guys arent listening to mee!!! can you honestly tell me that you would sit at the line of scrimmage for 20+ seconds in the second quarter everytime you have the ball? I think not. The chew clock allows you to automatically run down the clock with no effort. because it is easy to do now then people are more likely to do it!! I never said that i wanted the feature removed i just think it should be locked until the fourth quarter!!

Because He lost a football game. I swear, some people can blame EA if they pick aggressive, fumble 4 times, and end up losing the game.

Hell, it it's a 7-6 game, they will blame EA for making the game too hard.

If it's 44-41, they blame EA for making it too easy.

If the clock is standard, EA gets blamed for not having an accelerated play clock.

If the clock is accelerated, EA get blamed because people don't watch the clock closely enough.

Not knocking the OP, but enough is enough. all chew clock does it get rid of the 10 seconds of nothing.
