Notre Dame lost four times in the regular season in '94. Tied USC at 17 and lost 41-24 in the Fiesta Bowl to Colorado.

If anyone was snubbed in '94 it was Penn State. They beat USC and Michigan (something ND couldn't do) and went 11-0. They played Oregon in the Rose Bowl and won.

But the BCS wasn't around in '94 anyway so they didn't screw that up.

There is no tie-breaker in the B10. You are co-champions. The BCS Championship can take whomever they want based on their criteria.

Yes, but the BCS didn't start until 1998.

I absolutely hate the BCS even though it has worked well for me as a Buckeye fan, and am for a full fledged playoff system but I have to admit this is the best idea I have heard that could satisfy both people who want a playoff and people who want to keep the bowl system.
