How much of a loser does Keller have to be to file this lawsuit?

I'm not too worried about it now. I feel it will be tied up in court for a few years, so hopefully in the next couple years installments they make the game elite so that if Keller does win this case, we have a perfect game to play and can just update rosters ourselves.

so is Keller looking for compensation? the free education that would cost a lot of other people about $80,000 or so, wasnt enough?

Well, he obviously he didn't put the free education to good use if he has to tend bar with those snazzy Tom Cruise Cocktail moves to make ends meet. I guess being some lawyer's puppet could pay more than that in the long run. Douche.

User content cannot be legislated outside of people posting things that are obscene in nature.

At best, all this would do is cause NCAA games to be more random with regards to a player's appearance, number and attributes, which wouldn't really affect these games outside of creating more work for roster makers.

I always felt universities selling jerseys with a kid's name on it and keeping 100% of the profit crossed the line. But one could argue that was part of the "agreement" the athletes signed when they came to play there...we give you a scholarship, and you whore yourself out for four years to make us rich.

But when an outside entity like EA gets involved, I think it is utter horse sh*t that these kids don't get compensation. If I created a game and created an exact likeness of some random kid on a college campus, and used his name, he'd be able to rightfully sue.
1. so what if the university whores them out. fucjk if i could go to university for free because i had a little talent in something i would do anything the university asked.

2. shouldn't these alll these players just be flattered to have their " likeness" on a video game or have their jersey sold.

Keller and the rest of them who are joining on this lawsuit are just lossers who are trying to make a quick buck cause they didn't do anything with their oppurtunity to get a free or havily discounted degree...
